THE FOUNDER

An artist’s eye. A storyteller’s instinct.

Vesperaine was founded by Josette Dollar, an artist, designer, and creative director with a lifelong fascination for the relationship between art, atmosphere, and storytelling.

With a background in illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design, alongside years of experience in branding, marketing, entrepreneurship, and theatrical production, Josette brings a multidisciplinary perspective to every creative endeavor.

Her approach is shaped by a belief that exceptional design should do more than communicate. It should evoke emotion, establish identity, and create an experience that lingers long after the first impression.

Drawn to the beauty of classical architecture, the drama of editorial composition, and the possibilities of contemporary design, she founded Vesperaine as a space where artistic expression and purposeful design could exist together.

At its heart, Vesperaine is an extension of a simple philosophy: beautiful things should make us feel something.
